Dream High 2 confirms list of leading actors | As earlier rumors already indicated, the main cast for "Dream High 2" was finally revealed earlier this week.Kang Sora will take on the role of Shin Haesung, an aspiring singer, while 2AM's Jung Jinwoon will be acting alongside as Jin Yuujin, a boastful delinquent who dreams of being a rock star. Kang Sora revealed on her casting that "I've always only acted, so having to put on a performance this time was, frankly, a burden to me. It's a new challenge and I was quite nervous". 2AM's maknae Jinwoon on the other hand said that he was attracted to the role from the first moment he laid his eyes on the script. "He was especially attractive because of our common love for rock music. I will put in my best effort in making the character come to life."



T-ara's Jiyeon will be a student at Kirin High, trying to get her acting to the top. As Rian, a member of popular fictional girl group Hush, she has dreams of making it to the Cannes film festival. Her acting, on the other side, isn't particularly exceptional. "I've received a lot of advice from Eunjung. I've already prepared a warm blanket in preparation for entering the freezing Kirin Arts High School."

Lastly, Sistar's Hyorin was added to the cast to play Nana, a girl known for her singing ability. Nana is Hush's lead vocalist and is hiding a secret that will give the plot a surprising twist. "I feel attached to my character because our personalities are similar. I'm looking forward to playing her."

With multiple other actors added to the cast such as Park Jinyoung, Kim Jungtae, Choi Yeojin, Kim Jisoo, Yoo Soyoung and Ailee; "Dream High 2" is set for broadcast early next year. After School member Kahi was also considered for the cast, as she's offered a role as one of the teachers of Kirin Arts High School.
